Teacher's Pet
Third Tuesday
of February, May, August & November

TEACHERSpet
Buntport Theater and Found Magazine present Teacher's Pet, an open mic with homework. Every third month, you're invited come watch, or to take the stage for a 5 minute reading on the topic du jour, with a prize awarded to the audience-chosen "teacher's pet".

Hosts Brian Colonna and Erin Rollman will try to maintain order, and assure that the presentations are at least vaguely related to the theme. You can make your presentation in any manner you choose - interpretive dance, impromptu aria, or (like most everyone) standing awkwardly behind a microphone and stammering out your story. Just stay within the 5-minute limit, or the hall monitor will rat you out. It's always different, and always a genuinely good time - odd, funny and often a little disturbing ... we hope to see you there!

Doors open at 7:30 for sign ups, and the tardy bell rings at 8:00. Admission is $5, $6, or $7 (beer included, if you're inclined), depending on your luck and/or skill. Whether you're at the head of the class or in the back trying not to get called on, you'll be entertained, and by golly, you just might learn something.
